Muir's Flower Power Baby Shower

As you might expect, the first thing Muir needed upon arrival was a diaper change.  P-U says John.
The food was excellent.  Too bad it's another 6 months before Muir can try solid food.
Instead of a tasty buffet, Muir got the usual... a bottle with milky stuff in it.  Here Jan demonstrates a two-handed feeding position.  If anyone knows of a good one-handed feeding position that lets one keep the other hand free to work the mouse, please let us know!
Did you know that even snakes are afraid of snakes?  Steven Wright aside, it's amazing how adorable little kids are entranced by other adorable little kids.
Pretty soon, everyone was getting into the baby action.  There were infants flying right and left.
The entertainment ran from Peter Pan on the TV...
... to sitting on the porch enjoying the beautiful San Juan Capistrano surroundings...
... to waiting for Kathie to pull some kind of practical joke...
... to wurzel taking any excuse he can get to hop onto his unicycle and show off.  I really am riding a unicycle there... it's just hidden behind the fence.  :-)
Many fashion statements were made at this gathering, including awesome flip-flop and toe nail polish combinations...
... Susan trying to fit into the baby's outfits...
...fluorescent green chewing gum... (the most important thing about being a photographer is timing... and I have none)
... awesome party hats for everyone...
... and exquisitely crafted cake decorations.  Eh, what's up, Doc?
In the end, it's all about having a good time laughing together...
... waiting in line for your turn to hold the baby...
... and getting to take a good long nap when the whole thing's over and done with.
